Oops. You have to take down the Domino server in an emergency. How do you broadcast to everyone? And I'm not talking about the little message bar that no one
ever sees.
Actually there is a cool way to do it. Use the following example from the console:
- BROADCAST "(!) The Server is Going Down in 5 Minutes. Please Log Off Lotus Notes for 1 Hour"
That will give everyone attached to the server the following message. The trick is to make sure you add the (!) at the start of the message.

This is a very handy thing for every administrator to remember! Possibly it should be the default, but hey, what are you gonna do?
